About Joyce Chastain and Spirit Wind
It all began back in 1999 at a time when society was scrambling-worried about the new millennium and what would happen at the inevitable that the clock struck twelve, ushering in a new year, we were worried about the year 2000 and what it would bring. Would our computers crash? Would our electricity still work?
It's funny to look back at how naive we were and how we worried about silly things, but Glenn and Joyce Chastain were asked to minister in Word and song at a small store front church on the West Coast of Florida. We did not realize at that time, but God was preparing a mighty work in our lives-a work of healing and restoration in our lives as well as the lives of others.
Joyce, whose dad taught her music since she was ten years old, felt a calling on her life early on. She has been ministering in song most of her life.
Glenn, got his start in music in junior high school playing drums for groups in the South Florida area such as the Jenkins Boys.
Joyce Chastain and Spirit Wind has been blessed with several accolades. Vocal Group of the Year, Female Artist of the Year and many more.
